FASCIA INTEGRATION

A learning space for Structural Integration practitioners and bodywork professionals.

RETREATS - WORKSHOPS - CONVERSATIONS

About

Fascia Integration is a space for learning, exploration and exchange around fascia, Structural Integration and embodied practice.

We bring together courses, workshops, retreats and conversations with teachers and practitioners whose work invites us to look at the body from different perspectives. Our programmes combine theoretical understanding with hands-on learning, movement and embodied exploration, creating opportunities to deepen both knowledge and practice.

We value curiosity, thoughtful practice and the exchange of ideas. Above all, we want to create spaces where practitioners can learn from one another, encounter new ways of thinking and working, and continue exploring the remarkable complexity and adaptability of the human body.

Our next retreat

THE WAY OF FASCIA

Designed and facilitated by Bert Schmitz in collaboration with Fascia Integration

16 to 20 SEPTEMBER 2026

This retreat is conceived as a 5 day inner journey, inviting participants to experience the connection between body, consciousness, and space within the context of Structural Integration. The retreat explores the perceptual, relational, and embodied foundations that bring clarity and depth to this work. These are the inner skills that shape how we touch, how we perceive, and how we meet another human being. Because Structural Integration is not only what you touch — it’s how you perceive while touching.

WHAT YOU WILL DEVELOP

  • Through mindful awareness, guided movement, theory, touch and dialogue, we explore fascia as a dynamic field of perception — a place where form and formlessness, structure and experience, practitioner and client meet.

  • Through fasciategrity-inspired touch and felt-sense movement, we enter the quiet places where safety returns, coherence gathers, and new possibilities begin to organize themselves.

  • We will explore Felt-sense: a bodily-felt, holistic quality that carries implicit meaning about a situation. More than a sensation, it is the organism’s integrated knowing before it becomes conceptual.

You will leave with the embodied sense of fascia as a companion—an ever-forming matrix carrying the possibility of new beginnings, quiet reorientations, and the slow stitching together of things once split.

INVITATION

‘The Way of Fascia’ is for practitioners who sense that the next step in their development lies in refining perception — cultivating clarity, listening and coherence between perception and action.

Register up until the 10th of September
